How it works

  1. Answer a few questions about the network: how many access points and ports you need and what the firewall must do. Any step can be skipped.
  2. The site builds a starter bill of materials: devices, licenses, transceivers and accessories.
  3. Adjust the quantities and licenses, look at the topology diagram and save it as PDF.
  4. Download the list or the tender specification, share the project by link, or send a request to Zyxel.

Frequently asked questions

Can I bring in a plan from the Wi-Fi planner?

Yes. The Wi-Fi planner passes its list of access points to the project builder in one click; you only check the models and continue.

How do I share a project with a colleague?

Click "Share" to get a link. Anyone with it can view the project and copy it into their own project builder. The link is valid for 180 days.

What is in the tender specification?

Requirements for every device in the project, without vendor or model names, phrased as "at least" and "supported". The file opens in Excel.

Is my project saved?

Your answers are kept in this browser, so you can close the tab and come back. To open the project on another computer, create a link.
